Pastor Tom Bellhy

Pastor Tom has been at New Hope Church for 13 years and Pastor and Executive Director of New Hope City Center in Washington, PA. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA and is dedicated to bringing the Word of God to life in his preaching and teaching. In our weekly Bible Study, he has taught extensively through Genesis, Exodus, Joshua, the Gospel of John, Gospel of Mark, Acts, Letter to the Colossians, Ephesians, Galatians, Romans, Philippians, and more. He has also led studies in Blackaby’s “Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God.” Some of Pastor Tom’s preaching and teaching are available online.

Pastor Tom has a passion for moving the 21st Century Church back to the contagious Christianity spread by the Holy Spirit from person to person in the 1st Century Church. In Pastor Tom’s own words, “I believe we have a message to deliver to ‘institutional’ Christianity, to further the cause of re-reformation and redirect local churches toward a more “Acts” centered body of Christ equipping and empowering individual Christians to COME IN and GROW to GO OUT and SPREAD the good new of Jesus Christ.”

Pastor Tom resides in Hickory, PA with his wife Jan, they have five adult children. Along with his calling to preach and teach God’s Word, he loves reading, building, playing the guitar and singing for the Lord.
