New Hope

Adult Ministry

As we continue our 2018 ministry journey, here is what's going on at New Hope!

  • LIFE 2.0: On August 18, 9-11am, we continue our monthly study on the transforming power of your new life in Christ; the abundant life as a disciple of Jesus. This will be a dig deep endeavor to uncover the meaning of truly following Jesus. Break through the barriers that hold you back from the amazing, supernatural relationship God desires with you and live the adventure He has planned for you. Please participate in the 12 gatherings on the first Saturday of every month throughout 2018.
  • ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL: at 9:45am begins September 9, 2018.
  • CHRISTIAN COUNSELING ASSOCIATES: New Hope Church has allocated the room by the nursery for a Christian Counseling Associates office to provide Christian based counseling services. See www.christiancounselingwpa.com for more information on CCA and to schedule an appointment.
  • CITY MISSION CHAPEL SERVICE: New Hope Church is providing the Chapel Service for the City Mission on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:00 at the City Mission Chapel in Washington, located at 84 West Wheeling St.  All are welcome to attend.
  • BASKET OF LOVE: Each month we will reach out to a family in need of physical and spiritual sustenance with a “Basket of Love” full of food donations, Bible and/or spiritual readings. Your participation in time, goods, or money is greatly appreciated. Call 724-222-7490 for Lisa Weaver, for more information.
  • 2018 DAILY BIBLE READING: Please share Pastor Tom’s Daily Reading through the New Testament email. If you are not receiving the daily email for the day’s reading, please contact Pastor Tom at tbellhy@gmail.com
  • NEW HOPE CITY CENTER: Our ministry at 47 North Main Street in the heart of the city with a heart for those who desperately need the hope the light of Christ brings. New Hope City Center's HARMONY HOUSE CAFÉ  serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm and is a ministry that happens to be a cafe. Come and volunteer your time to minister, cook, clean, serve…even a few hours each week would be very helpful.
